August 2026
Middle distance triathlon in Port Talbot with a relay option, junior aquathlon and a charity Mini Mile supporting the Teleri Mia Foundation.
Swimrun along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path in the UK with full and sprint formats, solo or team entries, coastal terrain and GPX course maps.
A pool-based aquathlon in Builth Wells on 09 Aug 2026 with 200m swim 3 km run, 400m swim 5 km run, and a 400m swim 5 km relay. The event is chip timed, awards medals and raises funds for The Wales Air Ambulance.
A looped Eliminator swimrun at Tal Y Llyn in Snowdonia, featuring 5.2 km laps with 4.6 km running and 600 m swimming, up to six laps and a HQ at the Tyn Y Cornel Hotel. Terrain is mainly hard surface with short trail swim exits.
Final race of the 2026 Bay Aquathlon Series at Swansea Bay. Open water event offering three distances from a 400m swim with 3k run up to a 750m swim with 5k run, plus relay entries and a full series option.
A muddy mini triathlon on 29 August 2026 with a 60 yard bog swim, 2 mile cross country cycle and 1 mile run. Competitors start three minutes apart and entry is £15 with age, gender and fancy dress prizes.
September 2026
Triathlon y Bala on 6 September 2026 features lake swims in Llyn Tegid and multiple distances, with the Standard race hosting national and age group championships.
A multi-sport festival at Saundersfoot Harbour on 11 September 2026 featuring swim events and sprint race options with entry prices from £40 to £190. Organised by Activity Wales Events.
An IRONMAN triathlon in Tenby, Wales with a sunrise swim on North Beach, a hilly coastal bike route and a town run lined by large numbers of spectators.
A 13 km open-water swim followed by a 13 km trail run along the Wales Coast Path back to Aberdyfi. Live GPS tracking is provided and swimmers must meet a minimum open-water pace requirement.
Two-distance triathlon in Mumbles with a sea swim in Mumbles Bay, a hilly bike around the Gower Peninsula and a flat seafront run; Ocean Lava qualifier.
A sprint duathlon in Mumbles, Swansea on 26 September 2026 featuring a 5k run, 32k bike and 5k run with entry from £75.
Triathlon and duathlon at Newborough Forest with a beach start, sea swim, mixed road and trail run, and chip timing.
October 2026
A sprint triathlon in Porthcawl on 11 October 2026 with a 750 m harbour swim, a four lap bike circuit and a two lap 5 km coastal run finishing in the harbour.
March 2027
A sprint duathlon in Neyland on 7 March 2027 with a 5k run, 21k bike and 2.5k run along the Milford Haven Waterway. Field limited to 160, relay teams welcome; British Triathlon membership or Race Pass required.
A duathlon at Margam Country Park combining trail runs around the castle and lake with rolling road bike courses featuring short climbs and fast flat sections.
April 2027
A pool-based sprint triathlon at Haverfordwest Leisure Centre featuring a 400 m swim, 17 km bike and 5 km run. Relay and aquathlon options are available and the field is limited to 160 competitors.
A mixed trail and road duathlon at the National Botanic Garden of Wales with two 5 km runs and a 30 km road cycle loop through Carmarthenshire countryside.
