Event overview
THE ROC Wales is a multi-discipline endurance event held in Abersoch, Wales, with a route that combines sea swim, road cycling and a mountain run on Snowdon. The event covers a total distance of 115 km with a summit elevation of 3,330 ft and a reported total ascent of 5,825 ft. The mountain ascent uses The Watkin Path.
Course and distances
The race begins on Abersoch beach with a sea swim and finishes back on the beach after the final trail run. The course sequence is swim, bike, mountain run, bike and run.

- 49.5km road bike (outbound)
- 12km mountain run (approximately 6km ascent via The Watkin Path, then 6km descent)
- 49.5km road bike (return)
- 1km trail run to finish on Abersoch beach
