THE ROC WALES - Abersoch to Snowdon
THE ROC WALES is a point-to-point multi-discipline event that starts on Abersoch Beach and travels into the Snowdon massif. The course begins with a sea swim in Abersoch bay, includes road cycling sections to and from the mountain, and features a mountain ascent and descent via The Watkin Path before finishing with a short trail run on the beach.
The route covers a total of 115 km with a peak elevation gain listed as 3,330 ft and a total ascent of 5,825 ft. The mountain section comprises a 6 km ascent to the summit and a 6 km descent back to the bikes. The event venue is Abersoch Beach, Lon Golff, Abersoch, LL53 7EF. Entry for the 2026 edition reached a 400-person capacity and is sold out; a waiting list operates on a first come first served basis.
