Haverfordwest Sprint Triathlon
The Haverfordwest Sprint Triathlon is a pool-based sprint distance triathlon based at Haverfordwest Leisure Centre. The event is permitted by British Triathlon and offers individual, team relay, and aquathlon options.
Distances:
- 400 m pool swim
- 17 km bike
- 5 km run
The relay option accepts teams of two or three people. The aquathlon omits the bike section and comprises the swim and run only. The field is limited to 160 competitors.
Course notes state the swim takes place in a pool and is flat. The bike course is described as undulating, with some fast flat sections and a few lumps and bumps, particularly in the second half. The run is four laps; each lap begins with a steady, shallow incline and the final lap follows a slightly different finish route.
Minimum age for competitors is 15 on 31/12/2027. Entry fees listed are £40 for individuals, £50 for relay teams, and £30 for aquathlon entries, each subject to an online booking fee. The entry fee includes electronic chip timing, Tyvek race numbers with Sportstiks stickers, a finisher’s medal, prizes, and free electronic event photos.
Volunteer roles are available for registration, course marshalling, and finish line management; full instructions and public liability insurance are provided.
