Haverfordwest Sprint Triathlon
This is a sprint distance triathlon based at Haverfordwest Leisure Centre. The event is pool-start and offers relay and aquathlon options. Relay teams may consist of two or three people, and the aquathlon omits the bike leg.
The race distances are:
- 400 m swim (pool)
- 17 km bike
- 5 km run
The swim takes place in a pool and is described as flat. The bike course is undulating with some fast flat sections and a few lumps and bumps, especially in the second half. The run is four laps; each lap begins with a steady, shallow incline, and the final lap finishes on a slightly different route.
The event has been permitted by British Triathlon. The field is limited to 160 competitors. Minimum age for entry is 15 on 31/12/2026. Entry fees listed are £40 for individuals, £50 for relay teams, and £30 for the aquathlon, plus an online booking fee. Entries closed on Friday 3rd April and no late entries were accepted; the start list was published on Saturday 4th April.
The entry fee includes electronic chip timing, a Tyvek race number, a finisher’s medal, prizes, and free electronic event photos. An athlete brief and policies were made available by the organisers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
