Haver-Tri Sprint Triathlon & Aquathlon
Haver-Tri is a sprint distance triathlon and aquathlon held at Haverfordwest Leisure Centre on 11 April 2027. The event is organised with newcomers to triathlon in mind and also accommodates relay teams.
Distances offered:
- 400 m swim
- 17 km bike
- 5 km run
Competitors can enter the full sprint triathlon, the swim-and-run aquathlon, or form relay teams of two or three to split the swim, bike and run. Every entrant and every relay team member must hold British Triathlon membership or a Race Pass. Minimum age is 15 on 31 December 2027. The field is capped at 160 competitors and entries close on 2 April 2027 or when the event fills.
The swim takes place in the pool at Haverfordwest Leisure Centre. The bike course includes some fast flat sections and several lumps and bumps, especially in the second half. The run is four laps with a steady, shallow incline at the start of each lap. Technical officials will supervise the race under British Triathlon Competition Rules, and the bike leg runs on open roads where normal road rules apply. Medical cover is provided.
Included for competitors are Tyvek race numbers and stickers, electronic timing, a finisher's medal, age category and special category prizes, and free electronic event photos. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
