Haverfordwest Sprint Triathlon
The event is a sprint distance triathlon at Haverfordwest Leisure Centre on Sunday 11 April 2027. The race format is a pool swim followed by a bike leg and a run. Distances are:
- 400 m swim
- 17 km bike
- 5 km run
Entries are open from autumn 2026 and the field is limited to 160 competitors. The event allows relay entries in teams of two or three, and an aquathlon option that omits the bike and covers the swim and run. The event has been permitted by British Triathlon.
Course details note a flat pool swim, an undulating bike course with some fast flat sections and a few lumps and bumps especially in the second half, and a run made up of four laps with a steady shallow incline at the start of each lap. The run’s final lap follows a slightly different finish line route.
Minimum age is 15 on 31/12/2027. Entry fees are £40 for individuals, £50 for relay teams, and £30 for aquathlon entries, plus an online booking fee. The entry fee includes electronic chip timing, Tyvek race numbers with Sportstiks stickers, a finisher’s medal, prizes, and free electronic event photos.
