About the race
MID WALES 27 ROAD is a two-day SUPBIKERUN event at Fforest Fields on 15th and 16th May 2027 that combines stand up paddle boarding, road cycling and trail running across a private estate near Landrindod Wells.
Distances offered:
- Standard distance: 2K SUP, 23K road bike, 5K trail run.
- Long distance: 4K SUP, 46K road bike, 10K trail run.
The venue uses a sheltered, small lake for the SUP legs and a private 500-acre estate for the running and cycling sections. Trail routes include wildflower meadows, river paths and open hillside, and cycling options run on quiet lanes or singletrack through moorland on Aberedw Hill. The event provides free SUP workshops with certified instructors and offers paddleboard hire for those without kit. Results are chip-timed and finishers receive a custom tech tee and medal. Camping is available on-site with hard-standing, basic and electric pitches and 5-star rated facilities; camping is booked separately. Pricing starts from £135 with a split payment option over three months without interest. Participants who allow organizers to use their own board after their SUP leg receive a £10 ticket discount. Tickets are sold through the event ticket partner EtchRock. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
