Event Overview
The Slateman Triathlon & Duathlon takes place in Llanberis, within the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. It is described as a multi-sport adventure race. The event is part of a series called the Adventure Triathlon & Duathlon Series 2026, which also includes The Superfeet Sandman.
Distances
The event offers several triathlon and duathlon distances on a single date. The triathlon distances are:
- Sprint: Swim 750m, Bike 20.2km, Run 5.8km
- Standard: Swim 1500m, Bike 49.9km, Run 11.7km
- Legend (70.3): Swim 1900m, Bike 92.6km, Run 23.1km
- Ultra (140.6): Swim 2.4 miles, Bike 180km, Run (with two finish options) 44.5km or 49.9km
A Standard Duathlon is also available, consisting of Run 1 (5.8km), Bike (49.9km), and Run 2 (11.7km).
Event Features
The event includes an event village with music, commentary, shopping, and food. It is promoted as family-friendly and offers unique finisher mementos. Professional chip timing and live online results are provided. On-course support includes marshals, signage, and recovery vehicles.
