Swansea Triathlon
The Swansea Triathlon is a sprint-distance event taking place on 23 May 2027 in Swansea city centre, set along the waterfront and using the dock for the swim. The standard sprint course covers 750 m swim, 20 km bike and 5 km run. The bike leg requires three laps of a closed and marshalled circuit; the course is signed with a black arrow on a fluorescent background.
The route uses largely flat roads through the city centre. Riders must follow non-drafting rules and keep to the left except when overtaking. Marshals and signage are used throughout, and competitors are advised to ride within their ability and be aware that members of the general public may cross the course. Blue light incidents on course receive total priority.
Entry for the sprint is listed from £84.99 and a payment plan is available. Race organisation notes that the course is comprehensively marshalled, but that complete separation from traffic cannot be guaranteed, so caution is required at all times.
