Event overview
The Menai Holiday Cottages Abersoch Triathlon takes place in the seaside town of Abersoch, North Wales, on Saturday 20 June 2026. The event is organised as part of the Abersoch Triple Crown by Sensation Group and is held as the 10th annual Abersoch Triathlon. The races start with a sea swim in Abersoch's sheltered bay. The bike route is a 20 km lap, closed to traffic in sections. The run course includes beach, trail and road sections, with a beach finish on Abersoch beach. The event provides professional race support, on-course marshals, medals and a prize fund. Post-race music and a beach bar are present.

- Olympic: 1500m swim | 40km bike | 10K run
- Sprint: 750m swim | 20km bike | 5km run
Additional events and notes
A “dual” option allows competitors to complete both triathlon distances in one day. A 1 km beach race runs for young competitors and includes a trophy and medals for category winners. A Run-SUP-Run event includes a 500m beach run, a 1 km paddle board leg following a buoyed shoreline course, then a final 500m run; 100% of entry fees for that event go to the charity Move Against Cancer.
