Menai Holidays Abersoch Triathlon

The Menai Holidays Abersoch Triathlon takes place in the seaside town of Abersoch on Saturday 19th June 2027. The event offers two main triathlon distances and starts with a sea swim in Abersoch's sheltered bay. The bike route uses a 20 km lap; the sprint uses one lap and the Olympic distance uses two laps, with sections closed to traffic. The run includes beach, trail and road surfaces and finishes on Abersoch beach.

Distances included:

Olympic distance: 1,500m swim, 40km bike, 10K run
Sprint distance: 750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run

Additional event formats at the same meeting include a 1 km beach race for young runners, and a Run SUP Run event that combines a short beach run, a 1 km paddleboard leg along the shoreline, and a final beach run. For the paddleboard event, all entry fees are donated to MOVE AGAINST CANCER. There is also a "Dual in the Crown" option for competitors to complete both triathlon distances in one day and receive a commemorative mug.
