Wales Triathlon
Wales Triathlon is staged on the Pembrokeshire coast around Fishguard. The event combines a sheltered harbour swim, a road cycling course through local countryside, and a run that follows the coastline into Fishguard town. The swim takes place inside the harbour bay.
Race formats include two primary distances with defined lap counts and course files available as GPX downloads. The Middle Distance features a two-lap swim with a short run between exiting and re-entering the water, a bike section routed on open roads, and a multi-lap run. The Sprint Plus format uses single laps for swim, bike, and run.
- Middle Distance: Swim 1.2 miles / Bike 54 miles / Run 13 miles
- Sprint Plus Distance: Swim 950 m / Bike 27 miles / Run 3 miles
Entry pricing is listed for each distance and a payment plan option is available. Course maps and GPX files are provided for each discipline. The bike courses are noted to take place on open roads. The swim is described as sheltered and conducted inside the harbour bay, and the run finishes along the coastal approach into Fishguard town.
