Pembrokeshire Duathlon : Neyland
The Pembrokeshire Duathlon is a sprint distance duathlon held on the banks of the Milford Haven Waterway at Brunel Quay, Neyland. The race format comprises:
- 5 km run
- 21 km bike
- 2.5 km run
The first 5 km run is completely flat and passes through Neyland Marina and along the cycle path beside Westfield Pill Nature Reserve before returning to transition. The bike leg includes several climbs totalling 208 m, some fast descents, and a mixture of main roads and quiet country lanes. The final 2.5 km run is a shorter version of the opening run and finishes on the seafront at Brunel Quay with views over the Milford Haven Waterway.
The event is permitted by British Triathlon and hosted the Welsh Duathlon Championships in 2026. Entry requires British Triathlon membership or a Race Pass. The field is limited to 160 competitors. Relay teams of two or three are permitted. Minimum age is 15 on 31 December.
Entry fees are stated as £50 for individuals and £60 for relay teams plus an online booking fee. The entry fee includes Tyvek race numbers and sticker set from Sportstiks, electronic timing, an organic cotton event t-shirt from Howies for early entries, prizes, and free electronic event photos from RAW Photography.
