Pembrokeshire Duathlon, Neyland (Pembrokeshire)
The Pembrokeshire Duathlon takes place on 7 March 2027 at Brunel Quay on the banks of the Milford Haven Waterway in Neyland. It is a sprint-distance duathlon held under British Triathlon permission and the event hosted the Welsh Duathlon Championships in 2026. Entry requires British Triathlon membership or a Race Pass.
The race uses the following format:
- 5k run
- 21k bike
- 2.5k run
The field is limited to 160 competitors and relay teams of two or three people are welcome. The first 5k run is flat and runs through Neyland Marina onto a cycle path alongside Westfield Pill Nature Reserve before returning to transition. The 21k bike course includes about 208 m of climbing, some fast descents, and a mix of main roads and quiet country lanes. The final 2.5k is a shorter version of the first run and finishes on the seafront at Brunel Quay with the Milford Haven Waterway as a backdrop.
The minimum age is 15 on 31 December. Entry fees listed for 2027 are £50 for individuals and £60 for relay teams, plus an online booking fee. The entry fee includes race numbers, electronic timing, an organic cotton event t-shirt for qualifying entries, prizes, and free electronic photos. Net profit supports Pembrokeshire Triathlon Club and selected local causes including Greenacres Animal Rescue, Support the Boardwalk, and the RNLI. The closing date for entries is 26 February 2027 or when the event fills. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
