Pembrokeshire Duathlon
The Pembrokeshire Duathlon takes place at Brunel Quay, Neyland, on the banks of the Milford Haven Waterway. It is a sprint-distance multisport event with the following legs:
- 5 km Run one
- 21 km Bike
- 2.5 km Run two
Run one is a flat out-and-back route that heads through Neyland Marina and along the cycle path by Westfield Pill Nature Reserve before returning to transition. The bike leg is a 21 km loop on a mix of main roads and quiet country lanes with about 208 m of climbing and some fast descents. Run two is a shorter version of the opening run, finishing on the seafront at Brunel Quay with views of the Milford Haven Waterway.
Entry rules and field size are specified by the organiser: minimum age 15+ on 31 December 2027; every entrant, including relay team members, requires British Triathlon membership or a Race Pass; the field is capped at 200 competitors and entries close at midnight on 26 February 2027 or when the event fills. Relay teams of two or three are permitted.
Race services include Tyvek race numbers, Sportstiks stickers, electronic timing, an organic cotton event t-shirt if entered by 13 February 2027, category and relay prizes, and free electronic event photos. The event is run under British Triathlon Competition Rules with technical officials on course, the bike course is on open roads - normal road rules apply, and medical cover is available.
