Walkers use the 5K on Mattawan campus, mainly on paved roads and campus paths with some grass and trail sections and a midrace loop around the track and stadium. Dogs are not allowed; food and drinks follow and the event runs rain or shine.
Walkers follow the 5K course around Allegan Sports Complex on a route that stays inside the complex with no crossings into traffic. The event is community friendly, shirts can be purchased and registration includes a finishing medal.
