July 2026
Walkers can choose a 5K route starting at Margaret B. Upton Arboretum at 280 Water Street in St Joseph MI, available in person or as a virtual 5K alongside the running races. Proceeds support the Benton Harbor St Joseph YMCA.
August 2026
Walkers use the 5K on Mattawan campus, mainly on paved roads and campus paths with some grass and trail sections and a midrace loop around the track and stadium. Dogs are not allowed; food and drinks follow and the event runs rain or shine.
Walkers follow the 5K course around Allegan Sports Complex on a route that stays inside the complex with no crossings into traffic. The event is community friendly, shirts can be purchased and registration includes a finishing medal.
Walkers can join the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk starting in the east end of Kollen Park near the playground beside Lake Macatawa. Route maps will be available, the Polar Patrol treat truck offers free treats, and limited parking is nearby.

October 2026
Walkers can choose a 2K trail walk or the 5K run walk option starting at Ridge Point Community Church in Holland, MI. The scenic trail features varied terrain and a hill challenge, suitable for families and supporters walking alongside runners.
Walkers can take part in a 5K walk that starts and finishes at the Silver Beach County Park parking lot in St. Joseph, MI. The route runs through the park alongside the running races and has a registration fee of $25.00.
Walkers may use the 3.1 Miles course from Renaissance Athletic Club at 501 Graham Ave, Benton Harbor MI 49022. Walking is welcomed and participants must complete the route within 90 minutes.
