Badges and Bravery 5K and Kids' Fun Run : Allegan, MI

The Badges and Bravery 5K and Kids' Fun Run is scheduled for Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the Allegan Sports Complex, 1451 29th St, Allegan, MI 49010. This is the seventh annual edition of the event and includes a community 5k and a children’s fun run.

Kids Fun Run - open to ages 2 to 12

Registration for the 5K and Kids Fun Run includes a finishing medal that was individually designed by children participating in therapy at Safe Harbor. Entry fees listed are $40 for the 5K and $10 for the Kids Fun Run. Shirts are available for purchase; onsite registrations are welcome but shirts are not guaranteed. Everyone age 12 and under who registers for either event will be entered into a drawing for one of two kids' bikes, one donated by Rock 'N' Ride Bikes in South Haven and one donated by a board member. After the race there will be refreshments and food. All proceeds from the event will provide a lifeline to victims of child abuse and neglect. The event encourages participants to dress up as their favorite hero. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
