Mitchell 5K
The Mitchell 5K is a five-kilometre run/walk held on September 12, 2026, at Heritage Christian Academy in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The course uses the school's cross country layout and consists of two laps that include trails, several hills, off camber sections, and areas of uneven ground.
All proceeds are divided evenly between the Heritage Christian Academy Learning Lab, the Heritage Christian Academy cross country program, Missionary Support, and a charitable donation in the honoree's name. Parking is available at the school.
Registration opens May 28, 2026 and closes September 9, 2026. The entry fee for the 5K is $30.00. T shirts are guaranteed to participants who register by August 30, 2026; shirts after that date are available on a first come first serve basis.
Packet pickup is available at Heritage Christian Academy on the day before the race and on race day. Awards are presented for overall male and female finishers and for first place in age divisions: 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 to 99.
