AABC 5K and GLOW Stroll
The AABC 5K and GLOW Stroll is scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2026, on the Paul Henry Thornapple Trail in Middleville, Michigan. The staging area is at the Middleville Gazebo (91 E Main St). Parking is available street side and behind the Middleville Village Hall (100 East Main St).
The event includes a 5K run/walk on a paved nature trail that passes along the river. Casual strolls are welcome. The event is described as child friendly, and there will be refreshments, snacks, and music on site.
Registration for the 5K has tiered pricing. Early bird registration is $30 through August 31 with a shirt guaranteed. Pre-registration is $35 with a shirt guaranteed if registered by September 30. On-site registration is $40. Online registration closes at midnight on October 16.
The GLOW Stroll features glow in the dark and black light decorations and trick-or-treating along the trail. Glow Stroll registration is $15 for ages 12 and over and free for children 12 and under. Shirts are not included for the Glow Stroll but are available for purchase during online registration. Glow Stroll registrants receive an AABC trick or treat bag with goodies.
Proceeds from the event will support the AABC community outreach and education event planned for April 2027. Results may be posted automatically on race day when connected to Twitter. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
