Course and location
The course starts and finishes at the Mattawan Elementary School bus parking lot, 57400 Western St, Mattawan, MI 49071. The route begins on a short paved road, runs toward the high school, crosses a grassy area south of the tennis courts, goes behind the middle school past softball and baseball fields, loops the cross-country team bus loop, and continues into wooded trails before returning to pavement and the school grounds. Dogs are not allowed on the course. Walkers and participants with strollers must wait until all runners have started.
Logistics, awards, and charity
Packet pickup, on-site registration, and race start/finish use the elementary school bus parking lot. The event is planned rain or shine, but dangerous weather may cause delays or cancellation; no refunds will be issued for cancellations. All finishers receive a finisher medal. Awards are given to top overall male and female and top overall masters male and female (over 40), plus team awards for overall male, female, and coed teams; no age-group awards are listed.
