Event details

The Mattawan Wildcat Road & Trail 5K is held in Mattawan, Michigan with the start and finish located at the Mattawan Elementary School bus parking lot (57400 Western St, Mattawan, MI 49071). The course begins on a short paved road, crosses a grassy area south of the tennis courts, passes behind the middle school and by the softball and baseball fields, loops around the cross-country bus loop, then continues into a wooded section with trail running before returning to pavement and finishing on school grounds. Dogs are not allowed on the course. Walkers and participants with strollers must wait until all runners have started. Food and drinks are provided after the race. The event is planned to run rain or shine; in cases of dangerous weather there may be delays or cancellations and no refunds will be issued.
