Camp Sunshine Run for the Sun
Camp Sunshine Run for the Sun is a community running event held on August 5 at Kollen Park in Holland, Michigan, beside Lake Macatawa. The event includes a 5 km race and a 1 mile fun run/walk that start from the east end of the park near the playground and picnic pavilion.

The race location is Kollen Park, 240 Kollen Park Drive, Holland MI 49423. Limited parking is available on the east end of the park where the event begins; there is additional street parking nearby and parking in the west area of Kollen Park near the boat launch, which requires a short walk to the start area.
Bib pickup and packet distribution take place adjacent to the starting line in the east end of Kollen Park. Participants who reserved a shirt size by the deadline may pick up their shirts; a limited number of shirts will be available afterward on a first-come basis.
Event amenities include the Polar Patrol treat truck offering free treats. Route maps will be available and the event will use the City of Holland 5k Route #3 with possible modifications in 2026 due to road construction; the route will be clearly marked.
