Camp Sunshine Run for the Sun in Holland, Michigan
The Camp Sunshine Run for the Sun takes place on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Kollen Park in downtown Holland beside Lake Macatawa. The event includes a 5k race and a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk that both begin and end at Kollen Park.

Parking is limited on the east end of Kollen Park near the race start. Additional street parking is available within a short walk, and parking is also possible in the west area of the park near the boat launch.
Packet pickup and bib distribution occur adjacent to the starting line at the east end of Kollen Park near the playground and picnic pavilion. Participants who reserved a t-shirt size by the deadline may pick up their shirts, and a limited number of shirts will be available for those who registered after the deadline on a first come basis.
Route maps will be available and the 5k follows the City of Holland 5k Route 3. Critter Barn and Polar Patrol are listed as joining the event.
