Event Overview
The Camp Sunshine Run for the Sun takes place in downtown Holland, Michigan, at Kollen Park. The event course is situated beside Lake Macatawa and utilizes the City of Holland's 5k Route #3. Since its inception in 2009, this event has served as a gathering for campers, counselors, families, and supporters to raise awareness and support for Camp Sunshine.

Venue and Logistics
The start and finish lines are located at the east end of Kollen Park, near the playground and picnic pavilion area. Limited parking is available at the east end of the park, with additional options including street parking nearby or the west area of the park near the boat launch.
Participants can collect their materials at a designated area adjacent to the starting line. Those who registered before the deadline receive a reserved t-shirt, while a limited supply is available for later registrants on a first-come basis. During the event, the Polar Patrol treat truck will be present to provide snacks to attendees. The route is clearly marked, though modifications may occur depending on local road construction.
