November 2026
Walkers can use the 5K course beginning and ending at Jackman Park on a primarily flat, paved route through the tree lined streets of Glenview's Swainwood neighborhood. Packet pickup is at Hickey Hall with morning pickup at the Jackman Park gazeb..
Walkers follow a 5K course at South Middle School in Arlington Heights near 400 S HIGHLAND AVE, alongside the running races and a 5K wheelchair division. Entry is a $20 donation and proceeds benefit the Wheeling Township Food Pantry.
Walkers can do 5K or 13.1 Miles alongside the run at Ned Brown Meadow Grove in Elk Grove Village, IL; all finishers receive a medal and donut.
December 2026
Walkers can do the chip timed 5K through Downtown Wheaton alongside runners and receive a long sleeve shirt, reindeer antlers and a finisher medal.
Walkers can join the untimed 1 Mile walk starting at 220 West Campbell in Arlington Heights. The walking only event takes place alongside the running races and carries a $45.00 registration fee.

Walkers can use the half marathon or 10 km routes on a flat, out and back limestone surface along the western portion of the Great Western Trail, alongside running races.
A 5K walking course starts at Mount Saint Mary Park in downtown St. Charles on Route 31 at Prairie Street, running alongside the 5K race with race day packet pickup available.
Walkers can choose a 5K or 1 mile course in Northbrook starting at 2370 Shermer Rd, offered alongside the running races.

Walkers can choose 5K or 10K on a closed scenic course from Old Mill Park at 5 East State Street, Geneva IL, with packet pickup available and virtual run walk participation options.
July 2027
Walkers follow the 5K course on Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy trails starting at 251 Elkhorn Rd., Williams Bay, on cleared natural paths within the conservancy.
