Schaumburg Turkey Trot
The Schaumburg Turkey Trot is a community road run in Schaumburg, IL held on November 28, 2026. The event is the 18th annual running of the Schaumburg Turkey Trot and is part of the nationwide Thankful Turkey Run/Walk and the Run Chicagoland series.

The courses are entirely on paved paths or roads and the half marathon carries certification code IL22045NM. The event is chip timed and offers half marathon pacers across a wide range of target finish times. Course time limits are listed for each distance. Water stations provide water at all stations and sports drink at half marathon stations. A gear check is available on site.
All finishers in the half marathon, 5K, and kid’s 5K receive a finisher medal; kids eight and under in the Kid’s Dash receive a finisher ribbon. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group and overall. Age categories run from 10 and under through 70 plus.
Event gear options include a classic t shirt or an upgraded thin tec soft polyester pullover, and Spunky Dunkers donuts and a commemorative medal are available at the finish line. Packet mailing is offered for a fee and shuttle buses run from off site parking garages to the event area. Strollers are allowed for walkers and joggers only and dogs are not permitted.
