Santa's Run through the Lights 5K
The Santa's Run through the Lights is a seasonal running event held in Geneva, Illinois. The event takes place at 34W002 Cherry Ln and offers participants the opportunity to traverse a course decorated with holiday lights. The program features multiple ways to participate in the central distance as well as a specific event for younger children.
Participants can choose from the following course distances:
- 5K Run/Walk (Available in timed, untimed, and youth divisions)
- 100 Meters (Kid's Dash)
The 5K event includes a dedicated Kids Division Fun Run specifically for participants aged 11 and under. Additionally, an untimed version of the 5K is available for those who prefer to complete the distance without competitive tracking. For those unable to attend the physical location in Geneva, a Virtual 5K option is also provided.
The Kid's Dash is a 100-meter sprint designed for children aged 8 years old and younger. All finishers in this youth dash receive a ribbon upon completion of the course. Registration fees vary depending on the chosen category and the date of entry, with extended online registration periods available for the primary distances.
