The Longest Day Run
The Longest Day Run is a 5K run/walk held in Geneva, Illinois, with an on-site kids dash and a virtual participation option. The event takes place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Old Mill Park, 5 East State Street, Geneva, IL.

- Kids Dash, 50 meters, ages 2 to 6
- Virtual run/walk option available June 15 to June 21, 2026
Packet pickup is available the week before the event at Dick Pond Athletics in St. Charles. The 5K is chip timed. All finishers receive a custom finisher medal and race shirts are available in unisex or ladies cut. The kids dash participants receive a cotton race shirt, a custom finisher medal, and sunglasses.
Awards include top overall male and female and first through third place in multiple age group categories, including age brackets from 10 and under through 80 and over. All 5K participants are entered into a raffle for sunglasses. Virtual participants can record and submit results from their chosen location and will have race swag shipped the week of June 21, 2026.
The event includes a post-race celebration with pizza, drinks, dessert, and music. Volunteers help on race day and volunteer opportunities are available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
