The Longest Day Run
The Longest Day Run is a 5K and 10K event held on June 19, 2027, at Old Mill Park, 5 East State Street, Geneva, Illinois. The course is described as a closed scenic route and the event is chip timed. Event offerings include both in-person and virtual participation.

Packet pickup is scheduled on the days leading up to the event at Dick Pond Athletics in St. Charles and on race day at Old Mill Park in Geneva. Registration options include budget and complete packages and a virtual entry; registered participants receive event SWAG according to their package selection, including a custom finisher medal and a tech shirt option (unisex or ladies cut) for some packages.
The event includes a post-race celebration with food and music; cinnamon rolls and coffee are listed as part of the post-race offerings. All participants are entered into a raffle for Goodr sunglasses. Awards are given by age group and include top overall male and female placements; the 5K lists standard age group brackets from 10 & under up to 80+, and the 10K lists age brackets from 11-15 up to 70+ with podium places in indicated categories.
