The Longest Day Run
The Longest Day Run is a 5K and 10K event held on June 19, 2027, at Old Mill Park, 5 East State Street, Geneva, Illinois. The courses use a closed, scenic route and are chip timed. The event includes finisher medals and awards by age group, and top overall male and top overall female awards.
Registration packages include choices of a unisex or ladies cut tech shirt, a custom finisher medal, and access to the post race celebration. The post race area features food and drink including cinnamon rolls and coffee, and music. All participants are entered into a raffle for Goodr sunglasses.
Packet pickup is available before race day at Dick Pond Athletics in St. Charles and on race day at Old Mill Park in Geneva. A virtual participation option runs from June 13 to June 19, 2027; virtual participants will receive race swag shipped the week of June 19 and can record results using a mobile tracking app or by submitting manual results.
Volunteers support the event and may register to help. The event is chipped timed, posts official results, and offers age group awards across multiple standard categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
