Chicken Run - Batavia, Illinois
Chicken Run is a community road running event held on April 17, 2027 at the Peg Bond Center, 151 N Island Avenue, Batavia, IL. The event offers both in-person and virtual participation for two measured distances and provides certified course maps for each route.
Early packet pickup is scheduled for April 15 at Dick Pond Athletics in St. Charles. Race day packet pickup takes place at the Peg Bond Center on the event date. Virtual participants can complete their 5K or 10K between April 17 and April 24; race swag for virtual entries is shipped the week of April 17 and results may be submitted through tracking apps or manually as outlined by the organizer.

All in-person participants in the 5K and 10K receive a custom finisher's medal. The 5K and 10K each have overall awards for top male and top female finishers and age-group awards with 1st through 3rd places in the listed age categories. Additional event features include race swag and publicly posted results from prior years. A transfer option is available for registrations for a stated fee; deferrals are not allowed.
