Chicken Run - Batavia, Illinois
Chicken Run is a community road race offering two distance options at the Peg Bond Center in Batavia, Illinois on April 17, 2027. Early packet pickup is scheduled at Dick Pond Athletics in St. Charles on April 15, 2027, and race day packet pickup will be available at the Peg Bond Center on April 17, 2027.
The event features the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
All in-person 5K and 10K finishers receive a custom finisher's medal. Both distances have age-group awards and overall awards for male and female top finishers. The 5K awards include 1st through 3rd places across age divisions from 10 & under up to 70 & over. The 10K awards include 1st through 3rd places across age divisions from 14 & under up to 70 & over.
Certified course maps are provided for the 5K and 10K. A virtual participation option is available for both distances from April 17 to April 24, 2027, with event SWAG shipped the week of April 17; virtual results can be submitted via tracking apps or manually during that window. Registration transfers are permitted for a $5 fee and the event does not allow deferrals.
