Chicken Run 2027
Chicken Run is a community road race in Batavia, Illinois, held on April 17, 2027, with in person and virtual participation options. The event base is the Peg Bond Center at 151 N Island Avenue, Batavia, IL 60510.

Early packet pickup is scheduled for Thursday, April 15, 2027, at Dick Pond Athletics, 303 N. Second Street, St. Charles, IL 60174. Race day packet pickup and registration take place at the Peg Bond Center on April 17, 2027.
Virtual participation runs from April 17 through April 24, 2027. Virtual entrants receive race SWAG shipped the week of April 17, and may record and submit results using the ASICS Runkeeper app or other tracking devices during the virtual window.
All finishers in the 5K and 10K receive a custom finisher medal. The 5K and 10K each include Top Overall Male and Top Overall Female awards and age group awards for multiple age brackets; the 5K uses age groups from 10 and under up to 70 and over, and the 10K uses age groups from 14 and under up to 70 and over. Course maps are provided and certified for both distances.
Registration includes standard race entries, virtual entries, and novelty items such as a chicken hat and a rubber chicken. Registration transfers are allowed for a $5 fee.
