Kick'n The Kilt 5K & 8K
Kick'n The Kilt is a community run/walk held on March 20, 2027, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church on North 5th Avenue in St. Charles, Illinois. The event offers in-person and virtual participation options and posts results from previous years.
Two distance options are offered:
- 5K
- 8K
Event packages include complete and budget options. Complete packages include registration, a finisher's medal, and a race shirt. Budget packages include registration and a finisher's medal without a race shirt. After party tickets are available in two types: an adult ticket that includes one beer and access to the food tent and a no alcohol ticket that includes one soft drink and access to the food tent. Virtual participants may run or walk from March 1 through March 31, 2027, and event swag for virtual entries is scheduled to ship the week of March 27, 2027. The event provides instructions for tracking virtual runs with the ASICS Runkeeper app and for posting manual results.
Packet pickup is available on a pre-race date and on race day. Medals and awards are part of the event. Volunteers receive a shirt and an after party food and beer ticket. Listed bib sponsors include Dick Pond Athletics and Ivy Academy of Early Learning. A Rising Lights Project fundraiser is associated with the event and shows a current amount raised.
