Kick'n The Kilt 5K & 8K
Kick'n The Kilt is a community run/walk held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church on North 5th Avenue in St. Charles, Illinois. The event day is March 21, 2026. This year the program adds an 8K distance to the existing 5K.
The event offers several participation options:
- 8K run or walk
- 5K run or walk
- Virtual 5K with race swag shipped
- Kids Dash for ages 2 to 6
Virtual participants may complete their distance between March 1 and March 31, 2026; race swag for virtual entries will be shipped the week of March 27, 2026. Packet pickup is available before race day at Dick Pond Athletics in St. Charles, and race day packet pickup and registration are offered at the event. Medals and awards are part of the race program. After party tickets are available in two formats: an adult option that includes one beer plus access to the food tent, and a no alcohol option that includes a soft drink and food tent access.
A fundraising component supports the Rising Lights Project, with an amount raised displayed on the event page. Volunteers receive a shirt and a beer and food ticket as part of their role. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
