Oneness Run/Walk 2026
The 9th annual Oneness Run/Walk takes place in Palatine, Illinois, at the Deer Grove Forest Preserve. This event is entirely volunteer-run, with all proceeds donated to charity and scholarships. The course follows scenic trails within the preserve and is USATF-certified. Water stations are positioned along the route to support participants.
The event offers several distances and categories for different ages and preferences:
- 10K Run (Timed)
- 5K Run (Timed)
- 5K Walk (Untimed)
- Kiddie Dash (Ages 1-10)
Registered participants receive an official race packet, sponsored items, snacks, and beverages. Those in the 5K Run/Walk receive a race shirt, while supplies last, and Kiddie Dash participants receive medals. Awards are presented to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in various age categories, ranging from 10 and under to 60 plus.
Post-race amenities include light food and drinks at the finish line located at Picnic Grove #2. On-site parking is available near the event location. There is no designated gear check for this event. Participants can pick up their race packets the day before at a local sporting goods store or on the morning of the event at the preserve.
