Insane Candy Cane 5K Run/Walk
The Insane Candy Cane 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for Sunday, December 6, 2026. The event takes place at the Peg Bond Center in Batavia, Illinois.
Event Formats
Participants can choose between an in-person 5K run or walk and a virtual 5K run or walk. The virtual option allows running or walking anywhere between December 6 and December 14, 2026.
Registration and Fees
Registration for the 5K costs $51.49 until December 5, 2026, and increases to $56.99 on December 6, 2026. The same fees apply to the virtual event.
Packet Pick-Up
Packet pick-up is available on Thursday, December 3, 2026, from 3 PM to 7 PM at Dick Pond Athletics in St. Charles, Illinois. On event day, packet pick-up and registration are from 7:00 AM to 8:15 AM at the Peg Bond Center.
Awards and Prizes
Age group awards are presented for categories from 10 & under to 80 & over. Top overall male and female winners are recognized. Various prizes are available, including electronics, apparel, and gift cards.
Additional Activities
A Kids Dash is included in the event schedule.
Virtual Participation Details
For virtual participants, race swag is shipped during the week of December 6, 2026. Results can be submitted using the ASICS Runkeeper app or manually via the Race Roster website. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
