Insane Candy Cane 5K Run/Walk
The Insane Candy Cane 5K Run/Walk is a community running event held in Batavia, Illinois at the Peg Bond Center on December 6, 2026. The event program includes an in-person 5K Run/Walk, a separate Kids Dash, and a virtual 5K option that can be completed between December 6 and December 14, 2026.

Packet pickup is available before race day at Dick Pond Athletics in St. Charles and on race day at the Peg Bond Center. Finishers receive medals and there are age group awards, including top overall male and top overall female and 1st through 3rd places across multiple age categories from 10 and under through 80 and over.
Registration offers multiple packages that may include a race shirt, finisher medal, and access to the food tent; a budget package is available without a race shirt. Virtual participants receive event SWAG shipped during the week of December 6 and can record results using the ASICS Runkeeper app or by submitting manual results to Race Roster between December 6 and December 14.
Prizes include a variety of items and gift cards, and prize exchange rules apply for electronic items and specific vendors. Volunteers support event operations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
