Insane Candy Cane 5K Run/Walk - Batavia, Illinois
The Insane Candy Cane 5K Run/Walk takes place on December 6, 2026 at the Peg Bond Center in Batavia, Illinois. The event offers in-person and virtual participation, plus a separate Kids Dash.

Registration options include a Complete Package that provides a race shirt, finisher medal, and access to the food tent, and a Budget Package that provides a finisher medal and food tent access but no race shirt. Virtual entrants receive event SWAG shipped the week of December 6, 2026.
Packet pick up is scheduled before race day at Dick Pond Athletics in St. Charles and on race day at the Peg Bond Center in Batavia. Age group awards are given in the 5K, including top overall male and female and 1st through 3rd place in age categories from 10 and under through 80 and over.
Prizes reported in a prior year included items such as a Garmin Forerunner 165, wireless open-ear earbuds, a 40" smart TV, apparel items, socks, waist packs, and gift cards. Volunteers are used to support the event. Virtual participants can record results with the ASICS Runkeeper app or submit manual results through the event results service.
