Lions Charities Reindeer Run
The Lions Charities Reindeer Run is scheduled for December 5, 2026 in Downtown Wheaton. The event is presented in partnership by Wheaton Park District and Lions Club Charities and is the 14th annual running of the Reindeer Run 5K.
The event is a chip timed 5K. Overall winners and age category winners are determined by chip time. The top overall winners are announced immediately following the race; other age category winners are contacted by email after the race with details on award pickup.
Participants receive a long sleeve shirt, reindeer antlers, and a finisher medal. Shirt sizes are distributed on a first come, first served basis. The format welcomes people to walk, jog, or run the course.
The Wheaton Park District notes a photo release for the event: by participating or attending, a participant or the parent or guardian of a minor agrees to the use and distribution of images and video of the participant for promotional purposes without inspection or compensation.
