Lions Charities Reindeer Run - December 5, 2026
The Lions Charities Reindeer Run is a community 5K held in Downtown Wheaton. The 2026 event is listed as the 14th annual Reindeer Run and is presented in partnership by Wheaton Park District and Lions Club Charities. Participants may walk, jog, or run.
This race is chip timed; overall winners and age category winners are determined by chip time. The top overall winners are announced immediately after the race. Other age category winners are contacted by email after the event with details about award pickup.
All participants receive a long-sleeve shirt, reindeer antlers, and a finisher medal. Shirt sizes are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. A race route map is provided for the course.
The event page notes a photo release: the Wheaton Park District, its partners, approved volunteers, and vendors may take photographs or video of participants for promotional use. By participating or attending, a participant or the parent or guardian of a minor agrees to the use and distribution of their image in promotional materials without compensation.
Additional event materials include race results and a published race route map. The presentation emphasizes community partnership and an organized, timed 5K format in a downtown setting. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
