Lions Charities Reindeer Run
The Lions Charities Reindeer Run is an annual 5K event held on December 5, 2026, in Downtown Wheaton. The event is presented in partnership by Wheaton Park District and Lions Club Charities, with a community event partner listed as First Trust.
The race is chip timed. Overall winners and individual age category winners are determined by chip time. Registered participants receive a long-sleeve shirt, reindeer antlers, and a finisher medal. Shirt sizes are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Participants may walk, jog, or run the course. The event description notes festive elements such as Santa hats and jingle bells as part of the event atmosphere. Photographs and video of participants may be taken by the Wheaton Park District, its partners, approved volunteers, and vendors for promotional use; participation implies agreement to the use and distribution of images or recordings, including for minors represented by a parent or guardian.
