Glenview Gobbler 5K Run/Walk and Dash
The Glenview Gobbler is an inaugural community running event held on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 26, 2026, in Glenview, Illinois. The course begins and ends in Jackman Park and winds through the tree-lined streets of the Swainwood neighborhood. The route is primarily flat and paved, described as family-friendly and suitable for a wide range of ages.
The event is presented by Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Men’s Club in partnership with Grace Network. Proceeds and support benefit the Men’s Club programs and Grace Network initiatives. The Men’s Club supports parish and community efforts including the School Athletic Fund, Teacher’s Fund, classroom technology upgrades, religious education, after school clubs, and youth programs, as well as several parish funds and capital projects. Grace Network operates care closets in schools, providing health and hygiene items to students and addressing hygiene insecurity across many schools.
Event formats include the main community run and a short youth dash. Morning packet pickup will be located at Jackman Park under the gazebo.
