September 2026
Walk 1 km or 5 km from Lions Park, 21 Sir Winston Churchill Ave, St. Albert. Routes take place in the park. Walkers can expect refreshments, outdoor games and face painting alongside the running races.
The event offers a 2K walk at Nose Creek Regional Park in Airdrie alongside the running races. Light refreshments and a prize distribution are provided, and fundraising supports local charities.
Walkers follow the community 5KM route starting at Bud Miller All Seasons Park in Lloydminster. The event is family friendly and includes a kids zone, community vendors, food, music and prizes alongside the 5K run.
October 2026
Walkers follow a scenic 6 km route through Spruce Grove's trail network from Central Park, Spruce Grove AB. The event welcomes families, strollers and dogs and includes a Wellness Village with recovery stations alongside run and ruck.
Walk options of 1 km and 5 km follow routes at Prince's Island Park on a family friendly course. Participant items are available for pick-up at the registration tent on event day.
Walk options of 1 km, 5 km or 10 km take place at Emily Murphy Park in Edmonton. The event is family friendly with dogs and strollers welcome, offers post-race snacks and swag bags, and collects shoes and winter gear for patients.
At Genesis Place in Airdrie walkers have 15 minutes on the indoor track to walk as many laps as they can in their heat. Designated lanes, a run marshal and a group leader guide participants, and the track is shared with facility members.
November 2026
Walking is available on 5K and 1K routes in Sherwood Park with the exact course to be announced. Participants receive a chipped bib and finisher medal, and hot chocolate is served after the event.
Walkers follow park pathways in Bowness Park, 8900 48 Ave NW Calgary, on a festive 3.2km, collecting stocking stuffers along the route. The course is untimed and finishes with a medal that doubles as an ornament, an apple fritter and hot chocolat..
December 2026
Walkers can take part in the 1K Elf Walk at Confluence Plaza on St. Patrick's Island in Calgary, alongside the 5K Fun Run. The event is dog friendly and all participants register through a single Individual 5K Fun Run / 1K Elf Walk option.
Walkers use the 1 km Elf Walk course at Rundle Family Centre, completed as two laps of the mapped route. The event also includes a 5 km fun run alongside and one streamlined registration covers both options.
January 2027
Walkers can choose the 1K family route or the 5K route, both starting at the Running Room at Glenmore Landing Shopping Centre in Calgary. The event offers in-person and virtual options and runs alongside the running races.
February 2027
