The YYC Sub Ultra Trail Run is a trail race at Nose Hill Park in Calgary, Alberta on August 29, 2027. A "sub ultra" is defined as a trail race shorter than a marathon.

For the 34 km, 17 km and 6.2 km distances participants receive a YYC Sub Ultra swag item, a racer bib, on-course medical and safety support, and official chip timing provided by Startline Timing. The course is described as expertly designed and well marked. Event features include a finisher arch, music, a race announcer, and a post-race dairy-free sticky bun from Kashew Bakery. Elevation gains are listed as 500 m for the 17 km and 1000 m for the 34 km. Finisher medals and event t-shirts are available for purchase.

The 2 km kids event is an untimed division. Kids entrants receive a swag item, a racer bib, on-course medical and safety support, and a sticky bun. A free YYC Sub Ultra finisher's medal is available for children registered before August 1, 2027. No awards will be given in the children's division.
