CHAD'S DAY FOR CHANGE Urban Trail Race
An annual urban trail race in Edmonton's North Saskatchewan River valley scheduled for August 8, 2026. The course runs mainly on packed dirt trails with some gravel and asphalt sections. Runners are generally within sight of the river except when in forested ravines.
The primary 34 km route is divided into three out-and-back legs that return to the race headquarters. The three legs are named Dawson Park Loop, Strathcona Science Park Loop and Goldstick Ravine Loop. The 34 km route includes a single road crossing of the park access road.
The event raises awareness and funds for men's mental health and supports HeadsUpGuys. To date more than $21,500 has been raised for that organization. Multiple race formats use the same trail network and include solo, relay and shorter community options.
