Shoppers Drug Mart Run for Women Calgary 2026
The event is scheduled for June 20, 2026, at Peace Park, 2 Avenue Southwest, Calgary, AB. It supports the Calgary Health Foundation, with fundraising directed to the Calgary Eating Disorder Program and Women’s Mental Health services.
The Calgary Eating Disorder Program provides specialized care for Albertans aged 13 and older diagnosed with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and other specified feeding or eating disorders. Eating disorders have a high mortality rate and leading causes of death include suicide and cardiac disease. Funds raised help improve access to timely care for people with complex conditions.
Women’s Mental Health programs support women with moderate to severe mental health concerns who are planning pregnancy, are pregnant, or are up to one year postpartum. More than 600 women use these services annually. Nearly one in five women experience mental health difficulties during reproductive years.
Event information shows 1,507 participants and CA$30,513.58 raised toward a CA$80,000.00 goal, representing 38 percent of the target.
