About the race
The 23rd Annual Rotary Run for Life takes place in Stony Plain, Alberta on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at 5100 41 Avenue. The event offers timed and untimed options and includes a post-race breakfast and a memorial program.
Distances offered:
- 5 km walk/run
- 10 km run
- Half marathon
The event is professionally timed for participants who wish to be timed. Participants may register in youth, teen, and adult categories and may fundraise as individuals or as part of a team. T-shirt selection is available for racers who register before the August 28 deadline; sizes after that date are provided on a first-come, first-served basis during packet pick-up. Registration closes on September 8.
All fundraising from the event supports mental wellness and suicide prevention programs operating in Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, and Parkland County. The run is organized in partnership with the Rotary Clubs of Stony Plain, Spruce Grove, and Parkland After Dark and with the Coordinated Suicide Prevention Program.
