Rotary Run for Life 2026
Rotary Run for Life takes place in Stony Plain, Alberta on September 13, 2026. This is the 23rd annual edition of the event, which is usually held on the first or second Sunday in September.
Event distances include:
- 5 km walk/run
- 10 km run
- Half marathon
The race is professionally timed for participants who want official results. Entrants may register as individuals or as teams, with categories for youth, teen, and adult. T shirt size selection is available for registrations before August 28; after that date sizes are allocated at race package pick up subject to availability. Registration closes on September 8.
One hundred percent of fundraising proceeds support mental wellness and suicide prevention programs in Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, and Parkland County. The event partners with local Rotary clubs and the Coordinated Suicide Prevention Program.
The course includes a memory mile with markers for those lost to suicide, and memory boards can be placed within that mile. The race day is followed by breakfast for participants and a memorial program to remember those who have died by suicide. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
