Solstice 5K - Edmonton
The Solstice 5K - Edmonton takes place at the Northeast River Valley Park in Edmonton, Alberta. This evening event invites participants to race against the sunset to mark the long days of summer. The event offers options for different participation preferences:
- 5 km Run/Walk (In-person)
- 5 km Virtual
In-person participants gather at the park location, while the virtual option is available for residents across Canada who wish to complete the distance at their own convenience. All registered participants receive a pair of HOKA Rincon 4 running shoes and a commemorative finisher medal featuring a miniature Earth that orbits the sun. Shoe sizes are subject to availability and cannot be exchanged or substituted after registration.
Registration fees are tiered, with advance pricing available for those who register early. The event is open to Canadian residents only; overseas applications are not accepted. For virtual participants, the race kit, including the shoes and medal, is shipped directly to their home address for an additional shipping fee.
