RBC Race for the Kids Calgary
RBC Race for the Kids in Calgary is a family oriented event held at Heritage Park on September 13, 2026. This edition marks the 10th year in Calgary. The main route follows scenic pathways overlooking the Glenmore Reservoir.
Registration opens May 4. Registration includes a race T shirt, a completion medal, all day access to Heritage Park, kid friendly entertainment, snacks and a pancake breakfast. The items included with registration are valued at more than $80.
Since 2017 the event has raised more than $4.1 million to support the growing number of children in the community who need mental health resources. Funds from the race helped create the community based mental health centre The Summit which opened in spring 2023, and support programs and research focused on youth mental health.
