Walkers follow a mostly flat out and back route along shore roads, starting and finishing at the Totem Poles of the Haida Heritage Centre with views of the ocean, eagles and ravens. Distances include 10 km, half marathon, marathon.

Participants walk 5k or 10k from 2115 Hermitage Rd NW, Edmonton (Site #1) on a community fundraising course held alongside the running races. Package pickup is July 16 and 17, 4:00–7:00 PM at The Running Room, 8537 109 St NW.
Walkers can choose 10K, 5K or 1K family routes starting at Mill River Resort in Bloomfield PE; the 10K is two loops of the 5K course. Registration includes t shirt, finisher medal and refreshments, with race kit pickup the day before..
Walkers can choose the 5K or 10K Hope Run Walk starting at Range Road 32 in Mountain View County AB. Registration includes an event t shirt, medal and a post race dinner and social, and the weekend allows trailers or motorhomes.
Walkers use a slightly downhill tree covered and traffic free 5km route from Corktown Park in Hamilton. Bus to the start, chip timing and custom finisher medals are provided alongside the running race.
Walk a 2.5k loop at Diefenbaker Park in Saskatoon or repeat it for 5k, passing through bubble bogs on mixed terrain of hills, roads, paths, grass and unpaved trails. Wheelchairs and strollers are permitted and walkers should keep right.
Nature trails starting from 2053 Chemin du Tour du Lac on forest paths suitable for all ages. In person event lasting 7 hours with free parking, also suitable for walkers.
The event offers 21 km and 10 km trail walks starting at 11904 Emily Murphy Park Road Northwest, Edmonton, along scenic park trails. Registration includes a chipped bib, Coolnet UV half buff, bag check, photo finish and a post event meal.
