About the race
The Stampede Road Race takes place on July 11, 2027 at 5300 19 Street Southwest, Calgary, AB, Canada. The event includes multiple races and is presented with support from Centaur Subaru, ASICS Canada, and Strides Running Store. Race offerings: - 5K race - 10K race - Half Marathon - Kids races (100–1200 m, distance by age) Participants in the 5K, 10K and Half Marathon receive a top-quality T-shirt with men's and women's sizing from Small to XX-Large. Kids race entrants receive a cotton shirt.
Medals are available if requested but are not guaranteed once sold out. All races finish on the track. A bag check is available at the Glenmore Track. Port-a-potties are located by the start line.
Post-race activities include a traditional Stampede Breakfast. Registration and logistics details state that online registration will close on July 8, 2027, and transfers are available up until July 9, 2027. Package pickup is offered at Strides Marda Loop (3566 Garrison Gate SW) and at Strides Fish Creek (12445 Lake Fraser Drive SE) on the days before the event. Fees vary by distance and registration level; examples shown include kids races at about CA$23.63, 5K/10K entry around CA$61.33, and half marathon entry around CA$88.25.
