Event details
The Stampede Road Race is scheduled for July 5, 2026 in Calgary, Alberta at 5300 19 Street Southwest. Race distances include:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
- Kids races (200 m to 1200 m)
All races finish on the Glenmore track. A bag check will be available at the Glenmore track and port-a-potties will be located by the start line. Post-race activities include a traditional Stampede Breakfast. Participants in the 5K, 10K and Half Marathon receive a T-shirt and a reusable 200 ml silicon Hydrapack speed cup while quantities last; sizes available from Small to XX-Large. Kids race participants receive a cotton shirt.
Registration and logistics
Online registration is available in Canadian dollars and is subject to an online processing fee. Online registration closes 11:59 pm on Wednesday, July 1, 2026; after that, in-person registration is available only during race package pickup hours. Transfers are allowed up until June 30, 2026. No refunds will be issued. Accepted payment cards include Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
Package pickup is scheduled at Strides Running Store locations on the days before the race:
- Strides Marda Loop (3566 Garrison Gate SW) on July 2 and July 3
- Strides Fish Creek (380 Canyon Meadows Drive SE) on July 4
