10k runs in Yorkshire and the Humber: 142 10K races in 2026 and 2027, from Leeds to the coast, with dates, start locations and entry links. Yorkshire takes its 10Ks seriously. The Leeds Abbey Dash in November, an out-and-back to Kirkstall Abbey, is one of the fastest 10Ks in Britain and the race where many club runners set their PB. From June to September the Run For All series brings closed-road city 10Ks to Leeds, York and Sheffield, and in between there are club races in every corner of the county, from the Dales and the North York Moors to the Humber estuary.

What to expect from a Yorkshire 10k
The city races give you flat, measured courses and big fields; step outside them and the county's geography takes over. Sheffield's 10Ks tend to climb, Bradford and Huddersfield sit in the Pennine foothills, and anything billed as a trail 10K in the Dales or on the Moors will have more ascent than the distance suggests. The coast at Scarborough and Bridlington adds seafront races, and Harrogate and York are the pick for a fast time on a spring or autumn weekend. Most events run a 5K or a fun run alongside the 10K, and the race page lists every distance with a link to the official entry.
