South Leeds Bah Humbug 10K, 6 December 2026
The South Leeds Bah Humbug 10K is a single-lap race around Middleton Park with a track start and a stadium finish at South Leeds Stadium. The event covers 10 km on a multi-terrain, hilly course that is fully marshalled and signposted and includes distance markers and a drinks station. The route may be muddy and trail shoes are recommended.
Facilities at the race headquarters, John Charles Centre for Sport (Middleton Grove, LS11 5DJ), include toilets, changing rooms, lockers and showers. There is parking available; some spaces nearest the stadium have a three hour limit while an unlimited car park is available at the top of Middleton Grove. Race number collection, chip timing and immediate post-race results are provided. The race is not suitable for wheelchairs.
All finishers receive a bespoke medal and a goody bag; a technical T-shirt is offered as an add-on until mid November. Presentations take place in the bar with prizes for the first three men and first three women, veteran categories, a best fancy dress prize and a course record cash prize of £50 for each open and female record. Entry is limited to 500 places and on-the-day entry is not available. In the event of race cancellation registered runners are refunded 50% of the fee; transfers are permitted up to 26 November.
