South Leeds Bah Humbug 10K 2025
The event is a 10 kilometre road and off-road race held around Middleton Park with the start and finish at South Leeds Stadium. The course is a single lap, multi-terrain and hilly, and finishes back inside the stadium. The race is organised by South Leeds Lakers. Entry is limited to 500 places; the race is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Race details and facilities
All finishers receive a bespoke medal and a goody bag; a technical t-shirt is available as an add-on. The course is fully marshalled and signposted, with a drinks station on course and distance markers. Facilities at the Race HQ (John Charles Centre for Sport, Middleton Grove, Leeds, LS11 5DJ) include toilets, lockers, changing rooms and showers. There is parking nearby but some spaces have a three-hour limit.
Additional information: there is a free children's fun run of two laps of the track with on-the-day registration; trail shoes are recommended as the course could be muddy; muddy shoes are not permitted in the bars. Results are bib chip timed and available via the RaceBest website. Prizes are awarded for top open and female finishers, veteran categories, course records, and best fancy dress. Profits will be invested in health and sporting opportunities for young people in South Leeds. Entry fees range from £17 to £29 depending on affiliation and t-shirt option.
