South Leeds Bah Humbug 10K - Sunday 6th December 2026
The South Leeds Bah Humbug 10K is a single-lap 10 km multi-terrain race in and around Middleton Park, with a track start and a stadium finish. The course is hilly, fully marshalled and signposted, and includes a drinks station on route. Trail shoes are recommended as parts of the course may be muddy. A mince pie is provided at the finish.
Race HQ is at the John Charles Centre for Sport (Middleton Grove, Leeds LS11 5DJ), where lockers, changing facilities and showers are available. There is parking nearby; some car parks have a three-hour limit while others offer unlimited parking on Middleton Grove. Showers are available at the stadium but muddy shoes are not permitted in the bars.
Entries are limited to 500 places. The event provides a bespoke finisher medal and goody bag for all finishers; a technical T-shirt is available as an add-on until mid November. Prizes are awarded for the first three open men and women, veteran categories, course records (cash prize of £50 for open and female records) and best fancy dress.
Results are chip timed and released immediately after the race. In the event of race cancellation, entrants are refunded 50% of the entry fee; there is no refund for individual withdrawals, though place transfers are allowed until 26th November. The event is organised by South Leeds Lakers and aims to reinvest profits into sporting opportunities for young people in South Leeds.
