South Leeds Bah Humbug 10K
The South Leeds Bah Humbug 10K is a festive road and trail race based at South Leeds Stadium, taking a single lap around Middleton Park with a stadium start and a stadium finish. The course covers 10 kilometres, is multi terrain and hilly, and is not suitable for wheelchairs. The route is fully marshalled and signposted, with distance markers and a drinks station on course. The organisers note the route can be muddy and recommend trail shoes; showers and changing facilities are available at the venue.
Race entries are limited to 500 places. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and a goody bag; a technical T shirt is available as an add on until mid November. Prizes are awarded for the first three open and first three female finishers, veteran categories, course records with a cash prize for open and female records, and best fancy dress. Results are bib chip timed and available immediately after the race. Parking is available but some nearby car parks have a three hour limit; alternative unlimited parking is noted at the top of Middleton Grove. In the event the race is cancelled entrants will be refunded 50 percent of their fee; individual withdrawals are not refunded but place transfers are allowed up to 26 November.
