The Cleethorpes New Years Day 10K 2026 is organised by Cleethorpes Athletics Club and sponsored by Timber Specialists. The race is a 10K on a UKA measured, flat course around the streets of Cleethorpes and Humberston. The route comprises two small loops and one large loop. The event uses chip timing, is well marshalled, and is suitable for spectator viewing. A cash bonus of £300 is offered for breaking the course record (male 29:24, female 32:43). Prizes of £150 are awarded to the first male and first female finisher.
Entry, logistics and rules
Entry is priced at £24.00 with a £2 discount for England Athletics affiliated runners. Entries are limited to 750 places; at the time shown there were 338 entries and 412 places remaining. The minimum age is 15 and there is an 85-minute time limit for the 10K. Race numbers and timing chips are to be collected from Cleethorpes Leisure Centre on the morning of the event and race numbers must be secured with four pins to the front of the running vest. Editing details and transferring entries close on 1 December 2025 at 23:59:59. The organiser states there are no refunds.
