Winter Solstice Strider

The Winter Solstice Strider is a unique night running event held at the scenic St Ives Estate in Bingley, West Yorkshire. Participants can choose between 5k or 10k distances on an undulating multi-terrain course, completing one or two laps. The event welcomes runners, joggers, and walkers, with a special 5k option for accompanied children aged 6-17.

All participants receive a bespoke Solstice Strider medal. Facilities include water stations, distance markers, toilets, and free parking, though there are no changing or shower facilities. A virtual option is also available for those who wish to run remotely on the shortest day of the year.
