Event Details
The Winter Solstice Strider is a night run held on the St Ives Estate in Bingley. Participants can choose a 5-kilometre or 10-kilometre distance on a multi-terrain, undulating course. The 10-kilometre option consists of two laps.
The event is chip-timed. All participants receive a bespoke Solstice Strider medal. Entry includes the option for a virtual run, where participants can complete a 5k or 10k at a location of their choice on the shortest day and receive the medal in advance.
Facilities include water stations, distance markers, and toilets. There are no changing facilities, showers, or a baggage store. The race headquarters is at STRI on the St Ives Estate.
Entry Information
Entry fees are as follows:
- Winter Solstice Strider 5k adult: £24.00
- Winter Solstice Strider 10k: £24.00
- Virtual 5k or 10k Solstice Strider including medal and postage: £17.50
- 6-17 years old 5k (accompanied by an adult): £11.50
