Gathering Winter Fools Relay : 6 December 2025
The Gathering Winter Fools Relay is scheduled for 6 December 2025 at Carlton Keighley, Green Head Road, Utley, Keighley BD20 6EB. The event is organised by Keighley & Craven AC and uses a circular route around Keighley that includes public footpaths, trails and quiet roads. The course follows the usual route, with the final leg routed up the side of Dalton Lane Mill and across Dalton Lane rather than along Parkwood Street and Aireworth Road. Format and logistics
The race is an informal social relay for teams, limited to a maximum of 40 teams. Teams compete in three gender categories: Male/Open, Female and Mixed. The format comprises four legs, run in pairs, with low-level change-over points commonly located outside pubs. Entry opens 7 September 2025 and closes 1 December 2025. The entry fee is £40 per team. Teams can be entered by one person and team member details can be updated later through the online entry system. Refreshments include hot and cold drinks at the start and food at the finish; vegan options are available on request.
