Do you like my Bingley Baubles is a festive winter running event on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal near Bingley, West Yorkshire. The course follows the canal towpath, which is generally flat and well surfaced, with the 3-Rise and 5-Rise locks as the main changes in elevation. The event is chip timed and Trail Running Association licensed under UKA Rules.
The organiser provides feed and drink stations approximately every three miles offering water, sweets and treats. The route is fully marshalled and clearly signed. Toilets and parking are available at Bingley Rugby Club, with a small parking charge of £5 per car payable in cash. The rugby club is a short walk from the start and is about 1.5 miles from Bingley Train Station.
Event arrangements include a cup-less policy at feed stations, restrictions on over-ear headphones for safety, and caution about some minor unmarshalled road crossings. Transfers and deferrals are available via the event organiser’s website. Finishers receive a bespoke festive medal and post-race goodies. The event has multiple distance options to suit a range of race preferences and a seasonal atmosphere that includes encouragement for festive fancy dress.
