Chase The Pud 10K
Chase The Pud takes place on Sunday 6 December 2026 at The Knavesmire, York. The event features festive running with participants encouraged to dress as Santa and try to catch a Christmas pudding as part of the race experience.

- 10 km chip timed road race, flat, 3 and 1/3 laps

The 10 km race starts at Cherry Lane, which is about a 1 km walk from Race HQ after number collection. Race HQ is at York Knavesmire Service Track near the Knavesmire Road entrance. The course is on road and is not suitable for wheelchairs. Entry is limited to 300 places.
Facilities include water stations at 1 km and 4 km, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities and no showers. There is no official baggage storage, though bags may be left with the team at the gazebos at the entrant's own risk. On-the-day entries cannot be guaranteed a Santa outfit.
The event is organised by the British Heart Foundation. Entry fees shown range from £20 for an individual 10K entry to £80 for a team entry of up to five people. The event supports BHF fundraising for research into heart and circulatory diseases; local figures quoted list around 26,000 people living with these conditions in York and about 40 lives lost monthly in the area because of them.
