Jolly Holly Jog : Ripon, North Yorkshire
The Jolly Holly Jog is a scenic, multi-terrain road and trail event held on 28 December 2026 in Ripon. The race follows an undulating course of approximately 10 kilometres, mainly on public footpaths and through Studley parkland, including Hell Wath Nature Reserve, Whitcliffe Lane, Mackershaw Woods, Studley Deer Park and Plumpton Lane. A route map will be displayed at Race HQ.
The course is not suitable for wheelchairs, prams or pushchairs. Minimum age for entry is 15. Prizes are awarded for first to third male and female finishers, age grade winners and an annual trophy for the first locally based club runner.
Race HQ is Panthers Football Club, Hell Wath Playing Fields (HG4 2JT). Facilities at the Start/Finish area include water stations, distance markers and toilets with an increased number of portable toilets on the field. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage store. Mobile refreshments will be available at the Start/Finish area serving hot drinks, sandwiches and cakes.
Entry details state an entry limit of 1000. Early bird prices apply to the first 400 entries; later entry fees increase. Entries after 1 December 2026 will have a tree planted but will not receive a JHJ T-shirt. Entry on the day is not available.
