Crikey its the Christmas Cracker Day 2
Crikey its the Christmas Cracker Day 2 is an out and back trail run based at the Hollybush Conservation Centre in Kirkstall, Leeds. The route follows the Leeds & Liverpool Canal on a good, largely flat trail and is suitable for runners targeting faster times.
The course is fully marshalled and clearly signed. There are feed and drink stations at approximately every 3 miles. The event operates as a cup less event, so participants should bring a reusable cup or bottle.

- 20 miles (two 10 mile loops)
- Marathon (two half marathon loops)
Race HQ aims to provide a festive atmosphere with music, food and seasonal decorations. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and there are festive treats. The event is part of the It’s Grim Up North Running Christmas Cracker weekend and entries may be taken for one or both days.
Practical information includes a recommendation to use Headingley station for rail access, and no parking at the start and finish area with a nearby Morrisons car park suggested. The races are Trail Running Association licensed under UKA rules. For safety, large over ear headphones are not permitted while bone conducting or one in one out in ear pieces are allowed.
