Grim Christmas Cracker Day 2
Grim Christmas Cracker Day 2 is an out-and-back trail race based at Rodley Cricket Club, Canal Bank Sports Ground, Moss Bridge Road, Rodley, Leeds LS13 1RL. The course follows the Leeds and Liverpool Canal on a good, flat(ish) trail and is fully marshalled and clearly signed.
The event is part of the It’s Grim Up North Running Christmas Cracker Weekend and competitors may enter one day or both days. Races are Trail Running Association licensed under UKA rules. The event includes feed and drink stations approximately every three miles and is a cup-less event so participants must use a reusable bottle or cup. A bespoke finisher medal and festive treats are provided.
Practical notes include parking at the cricket club charged at £5 cash to support the club, bus links from Leeds, Keighley, Shipley, Bingley and Bradford, and encouragement of car sharing. Headphone rules restrict large over-ear headphones; bone-conducting or single in ear use is allowed. Marshals will assist but some road crossings are unmarshalled and runners should take care. Race changes on the day may incur a £5 administration fee.
