February 2027
The Kook Run includes 10K and 5K walks from South Coast Hwy 101, Encinitas on a coastal out and back with Pacific views, some uphill on return, and packet mailouts.

Walkers follow a 2 mile lollipop loop at Lake Cuyamaca, Chambers RV Park near Julian on scenic mountain lakeside terrain around 5,000 feet with on-site restaurant, store and RV facilities, alongside timed 6, 12 and 24 hour races.
