Pirate's Cove 6/12/24 Hour Run

The Pirate's Cove event takes place at Lake Cuyamaca, California. It features a timed endurance running format with 6-hour, 12-hour, and 24-hour options. The event starts at 8 a.m.

Participants run a 2-mile loop course, described as a lollipop shape. Lake Cuyamaca is located at an elevation of nearly 5,000 feet in the Cuyamaca mountains. The venue is eight miles south of Julian.

Facilities at the lake include a restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which also offers beer and wine. There is a store for supplies and a tackle shop where participants can purchase fishing licenses, rent fishing poles, and make reservations for campsites, RV spots, or cabins.
