Run Together Against Breast Cancer SAN DIEGO : Liberty Station
Run Together Against Breast Cancer SAN DIEGO is a community fundraising run on February 27, 2027, at Liberty Station, 2757 Dewey Rd, San Diego, CA 92106. The event raises awareness and funds to support people affected by breast cancer and is affiliated with the organizer's charity initiatives and sponsorship partners.
Route options include in-person distances and a virtual option. The field is organized in capped waves to limit crowding; a virtual run is available when waves sell out. Timing is optional: participants may track their own time with personal apps and submit results for posting. There are no timing chips.
Participant benefits are mailed to U.S. addresses instead of centralized packet pickup. Included items listed by the organizer: a running T-shirt (upgrade to a technical shirt available for an additional $5), a finisher's medal, and a digital training pack emailed before the run. Online results and a certificate of completion are provided, and participants receive an invitation to join a local running club. Race bibs are handed out on race day.
Entry options and listed registration fees include 5K, 10K, Half-Marathon (13.1), Virtual Run, and a Family 1 Mile Fun Run. The event notes a smaller, local format with volunteer opportunities and sponsor partnerships. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
