Coast to Crest 10K and 5K
The Coast to Crest trail event is the 11th annual running of two measured trail distances in Del Mar, California, held at the San Andreas Staging Lot, 15551 San Andres Dr. The courses are out and back, well groomed, and run entirely on hard packed dirt trail.
Both courses are largely flat except for the first quarter mile and conclude with a downhill finish. Elevation gain is listed between 50 and 100 feet depending on the race. Runners pass wide open lagoon views along the route; the area is also noted as a nesting place for osprey.
The event is designated as a final Championship Qualifier for both the 10K and the 5K. Race day parking is available on San Andreas Drive and in adjacent lots near the staging area.
