Coast to Crest 10K and 5K
The event takes place on March 28, 2026, at the San Andreas Staging Lot, 2801 Via De La Valle, Del Mar, CA. It serves as the final Championship Qualifier of the Sunshine Series. The event offers both a 10K and a 5K trail race and reported 162 participants on the registration page.

Both courses are out-and-back, run on hard-packed dirt trail, and are described as well groomed and 100% dirt. Elevation gain is listed as approximately 50 to 100 feet depending on the race. With the exception of the first quarter mile, the course is very flat and is considered a sprint course by many participants. Both routes feature wide open lagoon views and finish with a downhill section. The area is noted as a nesting place for osprey, which may be visible during the race.
