Coast to Crest 10K and 5K : event overview
Coast to Crest is an annual trail running event held on March 28, 2026, at the San Andreas Staging Lot, 2801 Via De La Valle, Del Mar, CA. The event offers two distances:
- 10K
- 5K
The 10K and 5K serve as the final Championship Qualifier of the Sunshine Series. The courses are out-and-back and are identified as trail routes on mapping platforms.
Course and logistics
Except for the first quarter mile, the course is described as flat and fast and is considered a sprint-style course. Both routes are well groomed and run on 100% dirt trail. Runners follow a route with wide open lagoon views and a downhill finish. The area is a nesting place for osprey, which may be visible during the event.
