Mission Hills 5k
The Mission Hills 5k is a timed nonprofit race and recreational fun run that follows streets in the historic Mission Hills neighborhood of San Diego. The event presents a measured 5k distance and combines organized timing with a community running atmosphere.
This event is held annually and is identified as the 11th edition. Race organizers list prizes, support, and event swag as part of the program. Results and photo galleries are published for recent editions, with 2026 results and photo collections noted.
The Mission Hills 5k donates all proceeds to support educational programs at Grant TK-8 School. The race has raised more than $200,000 toward these programs. There is an option to participate as a virtual runner for those who cannot attend in person. Participants may also form teams with family, neighbors, classmates, or clubs.
Organizers share event updates, race packet pick up information, and after party details on social media channels including Facebook and Instagram. Sponsorship is organized in tiered categories such as platinum, gold, silver, and bronze. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
