Bubble Run San Diego 2026
The Bubble Run takes place at the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center in Chula Vista, California. This event focuses on a playful atmosphere where participants encounter multiple Foam Bogs located throughout the course. Each station features a different color of foam, designed to cover runners from head to toe in safe, colored froth.
The course covers a distance of up to 3 miles (approximately 5 km). It is open to adults, children, and participants with strollers. Instead of a single mass start, the event uses a wave system to manage the flow of participants. Small groups are released every 60 to 90 seconds within their registered heat times. The final wave for any given heat departs 30 minutes after the scheduled start time.

Participants are encouraged to wear white t-shirts to better display the colored foam gathered during the run. The venue may charge a parking fee of up to $20, and an on-site store offers themed merchandise such as tutus and additional t-shirts. Organizers suggest arriving at the venue at least 30 to 45 minutes before a scheduled heat to allow for parking, check-in, and equipment collection.
